The
Yang di-Pertua
Negeri may, on the recommendation of the Chief Syariah Judge, appoint, from amongst members of the State Public Service, Judges of the Syariah
Subordinate Courts.
(2)
Every appointment made under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
