Section 9

The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, on the recommendation of the Chief Syariah Judge, appoint from amongst members of the

State Public Service, a Chief Registrar of the Syariah Appeal Court, a

Registrar of the Syariah High Court and Assistant Registrars of the

Syariah Subordinate Courts.
