Power to compound offences

Section 41
(1)
The Lembaga may compound any offence against this Act or any regulation made under this Act which is prescribed by the
Lembaga to be a compoundable offence by accepting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed such offence a sum of money not exceeding fifty per centum of the maximum fine with which the offence is punishable.
(2)
Upon receipt of the payment under subsection (1), no further proceedings shall be taken against such person in respect of such offence.

(3)
Any moneys paid to the Lembaga pursuant to the provisions of this section shall be paid into and form part of the Fund.
