Section 74
Affiliation with registered federation of trade unions
(1)
A registered trade union may affiliate with a registered federation of trade unions if a resolution has been passed by majority

of votes taken at a general meeting or a meeting of delegates, as the case may be, and upon the acceptance by the federation of such affiliation by notice.
(2)
The registered trade union shall file with the Director General the notice of resolution to affiliate together with the notice of acceptance by the federation referred to in subsection (1), within one month from the date of the notice of acceptance by the federation.
(3)
Upon the filing of both the notices subsections (2), the Director
General shall, if he satisfied that the provisions of this section have been complied with, enter the fact of such affiliation in the register, and thereupon the trade union shall be deemed to be a member of the federation from the date of acceptance of such affiliation by the federation.
