Act 237
Notwithstanding the Members of Parliament (Remuneration)
Act 1980 [Act 237] or any other law pertaining to the pensions and gratuities of Members of the Administration, Y.T.M. Tunku
Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj shall, on his retirement from the office of Prime Minister of Malaysia, be entitled to the following pension and privileges:
a pension of four thousand ringgit shall be payable monthly on the first day of each month;

a secretary, a clerk-cum-stenographer, a security officer and an office boy shall also be provided at current government rates.
Pension and privileges under this Act additional to any allowance or privileges, if any
The pension and privileges set out in section 2 shall be additional to any allowance or other privileges due to him under any law relating to remuneration of Members of Parliament or the
Legislative Assembly of any State.
Payment out of Consolidated Fund
Any expenditure incurred under section 2 shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund.
Repeal
is hereby repealed.
