Section 45

(2)

All persons employed or to be employed by the University other than those mentioned in subsection (1) shall, subject to any Rule or Statute, be appointed by the Board.

(3)

Every person employed by the University shall hold office on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Board and the terms and conditions to be so prescribed shall be deemed to include a provision—

(a)

in relation to teaching, examining, invigilating and other similar duties, that his employment is subject to the provisions of this Constitution and to the provisions of all Statutes, Rules and Regulations as from time to time amended; and

(b)

in relation to all other terms and conditions of service that his employment is subject to the provisions of this Constitution and to the provisions of all Statute, Rules and Regulations in force on the date of the commencement of his employment.

(4)

Nothing in this section shall prevent the Board from entering into a special contractual arrangement with a person to be so employed by the University if it is in the opinion of the Board expedient so to do.
