shall hold office upon such terms and conditions as the Chancellor with the approval of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may deem appropriate; and

subject to the terms of his appointment and to any direction by the

Chancellor, shall have all the powers and perform all the duties conferred or imposed upon professors by this Constitution, and any

Statute, Rules and Regulation made thereunder.
