Section 16
(1)
A person against whom any civil action is taken for committing a detrimental action against a whistleblower or any person related to or associated with the whistleblower in reprisal for a disclosure of improper conduct shall be sued and be liable for the damages or compensation under paragraph 15(1)(A) in his personal capacity.

(2)
The right of a whistleblower or any person related to or associated with the whistleblower to bring proceedings for damages does not affect any other right or remedy that may be available to him under any other written law.
