Youth Societies and Youth Development
(2)
The Minister may appoint a Deputy Registrar of Youth
Societies and such number of Assistant Registrars of Youth
Societies, officers and other servants who shall be under the general direction and control of the Registrar.
(3)
The Registrar shall have the powers and exercise the functions conferred on him by this Act, and in his absence such powers and functions may be had or exercised by the Deputy
Registrar.
(4)
The Assistant Registrar may exercise all the powers and functions conferred on the Registrar by or under this Act, subject to any restriction that may be imposed by the Registrar.
(5)
All officers and other servants appointed under subsection
(2)
shall be deemed to be public servants for the purposes of the
Penal Code [Act 574].
