Section 40

All information obtained by any member of the Institute or any of its committees, or any officer, servant or agent of the Institute in respect of any formula, process or practice in connection with the administration of this Act shall be treated as confidential.

Any person who contravenes this section commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
