Continuance of Council, etc.
The Co-ordinating Council for the Protection of Children,
Child Protection Teams, Juvenile Welfare Committees, Boards of Visitors and committees established, and officers and persons appointed, under the repealed Acts shall, on the appointed date, be deemed to have been established or appointed under this Act and shall have the powers, rights, privileges, liabilities, duties and obligations conferred on the Council, Child Protection Teams,
Child Welfare Committees, Boards of Visitors and committees established under this Act.
(2)
The members of the Council, Teams, Committees, Boards and committees established under the repealed Acts and any officers and persons appointed under the repealed Acts holding office on the day preceding the appointed date shall continue to hold office under this Act until their terms of appointment expire or they resign or their appointments are revoked in accordance with this Act and shall have the same powers, rights, privileges, liabilities, duties and obligations as if they had been appointed under this Act.
(3)
Every act or thing done, taken or commenced by the members of the Council, Teams, Committees, Boards, committees officers and persons referred to subsections (1) and (2), and the Board of Visiting Justices, under the repealed Acts before the appointed date shall, on and after the appointed date, be deemed to have been done, taken or commenced under this Act.
