231. Offence if use apparatus or device without authority

A person who uses any apparatus or device with intent to obtain information regarding the contents, sender or addressee of any communication without an approval by a registered certifying agency under Chapter 3 of Part VII commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand
