Disqualification for membership

Section 27
No person shall be eligible for admission as a member of a co-operative society if—
(a)
he is mentally disabled;
(b)
he is an undischarged bankrupt;
(c)
he is a person against whom a conviction stands for a registrable offence;
(d)
he has been expelled from membership under this Act and a period of one year has not elapsed from the date of such expulsion.
