Section 36

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the regulations or directives or guidelines and the by-laws, the ultimate authority of a co-operative society shall vest in the general meeting of its members, at which every member by himself or by delegate, or, in the case of a secondary co-operative society or tertiary co-operative society, by proxy, has a right to attend and vote.
