(a)
no member of the Council or committee, or officer of the Council, while he serves as chairman, member or officer, shall disclose any information which has been obtained by him in the course of his duties; and
(b)
no other person who, by any means, has access to any information or documents relating to the affairs of the
Council shall disclose such information or documents.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
