(2)

The designated practitioner body in which the Council has instructed to prepare governance and practice code shall prepare it within the specified time.

(3)

The governance and practice codes prepared by the designated practitioner body shall be approved and recorded by the Council in register.

(4)

Notwithstanding with subsection (1), the Council may determine the mandatory practice standards on any matter which the governance and practice codes are to contain, if—

(a)

a designated practitioner body is unlikely to develop the governance and practice codes or parts thereof, within a reasonable time;

(b)

the Council is satisfied that any subject matter of the governance and practice codes has failed and will continue to fail, to promote the purposes of this Act or the relevant national policy; or

(c)

the Minister directs the Council to do so.
