Section 48
(1)
The Minister may, in writing, authorize any medical officer of health, health inspector of the Ministry of Health and any local authority, any public officer and suitably qualified person to exercise the power of enforcement under this Act.
(2)
Any such authorized officer shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code [Act 574].
