Power of the Minister to make regulations

of Labuan Companies Act 1990

(1)

The Minister may, on the recommendation of the

Authority, make regulations prescribing all matters and things required or authorized by this Act to be prescribed or provided, or which are necessary or convenient to be prescribed or provided, for the carrying out of, or giving full effect to, the provisions of this Act.

(2)

Regulations made under this section may provide for—

(a)

any act or omission in contravention of the regulations to be an offence; and

(b)

the imposition of penalties of a fine not exceeding twenty-five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
