Disinfection or destruction of articles

Section 25
(1)

A veterinary authority may order the disinfection or destruction of any bedding, clothing, harness, fittings, buckets, pails or utensils whatsoever used in connection with any infected animal or bird, and compensation to be assessed by the veterinary authority shall be payable for any articles so destroyed.

(2)

Any person who fails to comply with any order made under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit.
