Disinfection of person and clothing

Section 26
(1)

A veterinary authority may order the disinfection of the body and clothing of any person who has been in contact with, in charge of, or attendant upon, any animal or bird infected with or reasonably believed to be infected with disease.

(2)

Any person who fails to comply with any order made under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit.
