Disinfection of vehicles

Section 27
(1)

A veterinary authority may order the disinfection of any vehicle or conveyance entering or leaving an area declared to be an infected area under section 36, or which has been used in the transport of any animal or bird infected with or reasonably believed to be infected with disease.

(2)

Any person who fails to comply with any order made under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit.
