Section 38
(1)
The Director may make loans or exchanges of any antiquities which are the property of the Government to or with learned societies or museums or with any expert specialist and may authorise the export of the same for such purposes.

(2)
Any agreement for a loan under the preceding subsection shall contain adequate provisions for the preservation, insurance and, if the Director considers necessary, the return to the Government of the antiquities.
