Section 214
Powers exercisable in subsidiary legislation
Any power conferred by this Act to make regulations, rules, orders or other instruments shall include power to make provisions for specified cases or classes of cases, and to make different provisions for different classes of cases, and for the purposes of any such regulations, rules, orders or instruments, classes of cases may be defined by reference to the circumstances therein specified.

Any such regulations, rules, orders or other instruments as aforesaid may impose conditions, require acts or things to be performed or done to the satisfaction of any person named therein whether or not such persons are members of any of the regular forces, empower such persons to issue orders either orally or in writing requiring acts or things to be performed or done or prohibiting acts or things from being performed or done, and prescribe periods or dates upon, within or before which such acts or things shall be performed or done or such condition shall be fulfilled, and provide for appeal against any such order, requirement or direction.
