Section 17
(1)

The assets of BERNAMA may be invested by the Board in investments authorized by law for the investment of trust funds.

(2)

Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Board shall not make any investment in securities issued or registered or other properties situated outside Malaysia except with the approval of the Minister of Finance.
