Guarantee of full service
Notwithstanding any arrangements which BERNAMA may enter into for the reception and distribution of international news, subscribers to BERNAMA shall be guaranteed the right, on request and on terms in regard to payment to be decided by the
Board, to receive through BERNAMA the full service supplied to BERNAMA by any international news agency.

Arrangements for news collection and distribution made by BERNAMA shall be without prejudice to the right of the newspapers who are subscribers to BERNAMA to make their own independent arrangements for news coverage by their own correspondents.
(3)
In subsection (2), “correspondents” include editorial staff of a newspaper and any person who writes or supplies news for a fee either as a part-time or full-time occupation.
