Granting of new licence upon revocation
of Factories and Machinery Act 1967
(1)
Upon the revocation under section 7E of a licence granted to the licensed person, the Minister may, after consulting the Chief Inspector, appoint another person to carry out, discharge, assume or perform any of the functions, obligations, duties, responsibilities and conditions conferred or imposed by the revoked licence, and to receive any payments, benefits or privileges which the person whose licence is revoked is entitled to receive or enjoy under the terms and conditions of the licence.
(2)
The person whose licence is revoked and his agents or employees shall render all necessary assistance and cooperation to the person appointed by the Minister under subsection (1).
