Prosecutions in respect of offences committed under—

Section 28

(a)

section 6 may be conducted by a senior officer of customs or any officer of customs specially authorised in writing in that behalf by the Regional Comptroller; and

(b)

any other provision of this Act or any regulations made thereunder may be conducted by an officer of the Authority, specially or generally authorised in writing in that behalf by the Minister.
