Power to require information
of Government Procurement Act 2026
The Secretary General to the Treasury or State financial authority, as the case may be, or any monitoring officer may, by notice in writing, require any person who administers, conducts or implements a Government procurement to provide any explanation, information, document or record relating to the
Government procurement so administered, conducted or implemented within the period and in the form and manner specified in the notice in writing.
(2)
Any person required to provide an explanation, information, document or record under subsection (1) shall ensure that the explanation, information, document or record provided is true, accurate and complete and such person shall provide an express representation to that effect, including a declaration that he is not aware of any other information which would make the explanation, information, document or record provided false or misleading.
