Access to computerized data

Section 50A
(1)
An Assistant Controller conducting a search under this Act shall be given access to computerized data whether stored in a computer or otherwise.
(2)
For the purpose of this section, “access”—
(a)
includes being provided with the necessary password, encryption code, decryption code, software or hardware

and any other means required to enable comprehension of such computerized data; and
(b)
has the same meaning assigned to it by subsections 2(2)
and (5) of the Computer Crimes Act 1997 [Act 563].
