(a)
register the industrial design by recording the prescribed particulars in the Register; and
(b)
issue to the applicant a certificate of registration of the industrial design in the prescribed form.

(2)
As soon as possible thereafter, the Registrar shall cause to be published in the Gazette—
(a)
a notice that the industrial design has been registered;
(b)
the name and address of the registered owner; and
(c)
any other matters constituting or relating to the industrial design which in his opinion it is desirable to publish.
(3)
The certificate of registration shall be prima facie evidence of the facts stated therein and of the validity of the registration.
