Power to declare interests to be regulated under the securities laws

Section 91
(1)
The Minister charged with the responsibility for finance may request the Minister to declare that certain interests or class of interests is more appropriately regulated under securities laws as defined in the *Securities Commission Malaysia Act 1993 [Act 498].

The Minister may, after consultation with the Minister charged with the responsibility for finance, make regulations for the purposes of a declaration under subsection (1).
