Section 18

Such notice shall require the owner or occupier to take the necessary action within a stated time, which shall not be less than fifteen days from the date of the service of the notice.

If default is made in complying with the provisions of such notice, the Drainage and Irrigation Engineer or other officer in charge of such area may cause such action to be taken as is required by the notice and may thereafter certify under his hand the cost thereof, and thereupon the amount so certified shall be recoverable from the person by whom default was made as aforesaid in the manner provided by law for the recovery of land revenue.
