Section 131

Any husband or wife who ill-treats his wife or her husband or cheats his wife or her husband of her or his property, as the case may be, commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both such fine and imprisonment.
