Section 41

(1)
Every Register of Marriages and index kept by the
Chief Registrar or Registrar under this Ordinance shall be open to inspection by any person upon payment of the prescribed fee.
(2)
The Chief Registrar or Registrar, as the case may be, shall, upon payment of the prescribed fee, furnish to any person requiring a copy of the entry in the Register of Marriages and index, certified under the hand and seal of his office.
