Section 164

There shall be implied in every memorandum of sublease an undertaking by the lessor that he shall, during the continuance of the sublease, pay all rent, taxes and other charges, if any, which are payable to the Government and shall keep the sublessee indemnified against all claims and demands in respect of such rent, taxes and other

charges, and in respect of any moneys payable under any charges on the property.
