Receivership and winding up
(1)
The provisions of Parts VIII and X of the Companies
Act 1965 (in so far as they relate to a company limited by shares)
shall apply to the receivership and winding up of a Langkawi company, subject to such modifications as the Minister may make by order, and in particular references to a “company” shall be taken as references to a Langkawi company.

The Companies (Winding-Up) Rules 1972 [P.U. (A) 289/1972]
shall also apply to the winding up of a Langkawi company, subject to such modifications as the Minister may make by order, and in particular references to a “company” shall be taken as references to a Langkawi company.

In this section, “modification” includes amendment, adaptation, alteration, variation, addition, division, substitution or exclusion.
