Dividends payable from profits only
(1)
No dividends shall be payable to any shareholder of any
Langkawi company except out of profits.
(2)
Every director of a Langkawi company who wilfully pays or permits to be paid any dividend out of what he knows is not profit shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
