Section 44
(2)
A foreign limited liability partnership shall not be regarded as carrying on business in Malaysia for the reason only that within
Malaysia it carries on activities as specified in the Third Schedule.
(3)
A person who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
