(2)
All references to “family solidarity takaful” in any written law shall, on the coming into operation of this Act, be construed as references to “family takaful”.

Notwithstanding the change of name in this Act, from family solidarity takaful to family takaful and from family solidarity takaful certificate to family takaful cetificate, the protection to the extent accorded to such takaful benefits under the principal
Act shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
(4)
The amendments in sections 2, 3, 13, 14, 17, 44, 45, 46,
47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 57, 58, 59, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70,
71, 72, 73, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93 and 94 of this Act which are consequential to the enforcement of the Financial Services Act 2013
and the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 shall be read together with the savings and transitional provision, as the case may be, as provided in the Financial Services Act 2013 and the Islamic
Financial Services Act 2013.

Any act, thing or proceedings, whether civil or criminal, or appeal, pending or existing, under the amended sections immediately before the coming into operation of this Act, may be continued under the principal Act as if the principal Act had not been amended.
