Section 42
(1)
Any person who discovers any object which he has reason to believe to be a space object or an object which originated from space shall not tamper with, remove, damage or destroy the object except where it is necessary to do so to prevent immediate danger to the safety of life or property.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a)
where such person is an individual, to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit; or
(b)
where such person is a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit.
