Conduct of enquiry

Section 18
(1)
For the purpose of an enquiry under this Act, the
Committee may procure and receive all such evidence whether oral or in writing and whether the same be admissible or not under any written law relating to evidence or procedure as it may think necessary or desirable.
(2)
Every enquiry shall be held at such place and time as the
Committee may direct.
(3)
Every enquiry shall be open to the public unless the
Committee for reasons to be recorded directs otherwise.
(4)
The Committee shall have power to cancel or postpone the holding of any proposed enquiry or adjourn any proceeding or change the venue of any enquiry.
