Jurisdiction of subordinate Court

Section 78
(1)
Notwithstanding any other written law, a subordinate Court shall have power to try any offence under this Act and on conviction to impose the full penalty therefor.
(2)
For the purpose of subsection (1), “subordinate Court” means a
Sessions Court or a Magistrate’s Court.
