Section 78M
(1)
The Registrar shall, by notification published in the Official
Journal, specify the International Preliminary Examination Authority which is competent to carry out international preliminary examination for international applications filed with the Patent Registration office.
(2)
The applicant may request for an international preliminary examination to be carried out in respect of the application by submitting a demand in accordance with the Treaty.
