Section 18

A Sessions Court and the Court of a First Class Magistrate shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine all prosecutions for offences against sections 9, 14, 16, 19 and 21 and a Sessions Court shall notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any written law, have jurisdiction to impose the full penalty or punishment provided by or under this Act.
