Assistance of the police in times of emergency

Section 24
(1)
The Commissioner General may, in an emergency or in the interest of public safety, request the assistance of the Royal Malaysia
Police.
(2)
Police officers deployed under subsection (1) shall be headed by a senior police officer and all such police officers shall be under the control and supervision of the Commissioner General or any other prison officer specially authorized for that purpose.
