Measures, etc., for investigating infectious diseases and treatment of infected persons
of Protection of Public Health Ordinance, 1999

The Director may, after consultation with the Minister, by Order, prescribe any general or specific measures or procedures to prevent the occurrence of and to contain the spread of infectious disease in Sarawak or any part thereof, and may also, by Order, prescribe measures for the treatment, isolation or surveillance of infected persons, and all medical practitioners shall comply with any
Order made hereunder.

(2)
Any medical practitioner who fails without reasonable cause or excuse to comply with any Order made under subsection (1)
shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine not exceeding three thousand ringgit.
