Section 10

The Director or any person duly authorized by the
Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri may, from time to time, undertake epidemiological surveys or entomological surveys of people, animals or vectors in order to determine the existence, prevalence or incidence of infectious disease or vector-borne diseases, and to make recommendations to the Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri, on the

measures to be taken to prevent the outbreak, or to control the spread, of such diseases.
(2)
The Director shall make available to the Minister or the person authorized to undertake the survey under subsection (1), all information or data obtained by him under Part IV of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 [Act 342].
