  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 (3) of the Hire Purchase Act 1967, the Minister makes the following order:

This Order may be cited as the Hire Purchase (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1983 and shall come into force on the 1st May 1983.

The First Schedule to the Hire Purchase Act 1967 is amended—

(a)

by substituting the words "other than" in paragrapah 1 (e) the word "including";

by substituting a semicolon for fullstop in paragraph 8; and inserting the following:
