Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968, Pesuruhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang, dengan kelulusan Jawatankuasa Penyemak Undang-Undang, dengan ini membuat perintah yang berikut:
Seksyen 1
Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Penyemakan Undang-Undang (Pegawai-Pegawai Diplomat dan Konsul (Sumpah dan Fee)) 1988 dan hendaklah mempunyai kuatkuasa undang-undang mulai dari 29hb September 1988.
Seksyen 2
(a)
Tarikh berkuatkuasa Akta Pegawai-Pegawai Diplomat dan Konsul (Sumpah dan Fee) 1959 bagi Malaysia Timur yang tercatat di muka surat 5 adalah dengan ini dibetulkan dengan menggantikan perkataan "4hb November 1965" dengan perkataan "25hb November 1965".
(b)
Tarikh berkuatkuasa bagi L.N. 441/65 yang terdapat dalam Senarai Pindaan di muka surat 9 adalah dengan ini dibetulkan dengan menggantikan "4-11-1965" dengan "25-11-1965".

REVISION OF LAWS ACT 1968 REVISION OF LAWS (DIPLOMATIC AND CONSULAR OFFICERS (OATHS AND FEES)) ORDER 1988
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968, the Commissioner of Law Revision, with the approval of the Law Revision Committee, hereby makes the following order:
Seksyen 1
This Order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees)) Order 1988 and shall have the force of law with effect from the 29th September 1988.
Seksyen 2
(a)
The date of coming into force of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) Act 1959 for East Malaysia appearing in page 5 is hereby rectified by substituting "25th November 1965" for "4th November 1965".
(b)
The date of coming into force for L.N. 441/65 appearing in the List of Amendments in page 9 is hereby rectified by substituting "25-11-1965" for "4-11-1965".
