Section 129
Private sidings are installed for the convenience of railway users. Loading and unloading of goods to and from railway wagons at private sidings shall be carried out by consignors or consignees as the case may be at their sole risk and responsibility. They shall also be responsible to make good the cost of repair to any wagon damaged during the loading or unloading operation.

(b)
In the case of goods consigned to a private siding the Railway Department shall not be liable for any loss, destruction or deterioration of any such goods arising after the wagon or wagons containing the goods have been placed on such private siding.
(c)
In the case of goods forwarded from a private siding the Railway Department shall not be liable for any loss, destruction or deterioration of any such goods until the wagon or wagons containing such goods have been taken over at the private siding by Railway staff and a receipt for such goods has been issued.
